 Eroded White Pillar- USE CODE "BNAB10" FOR ORDERING |
The interaction
of water an earth is once again evident in this image of a soft
white mineral that forms easily erodable pillars. What I find extremely
interesting is that as the pillar is eroded from the top, the water
leaves behind clay/silt stalactites in the lower cavity. This image
was taken in the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument |
