Early morning
on sand dunes can provide for some wonderful abstractions. I have
visited the Kelso
Sand Dunes in the Mohave
National Preserve during two seperate occasions. In December
2005, I took this image just as the sun came over the Providence
Mountains. The early morning light provided the rich color seen
here. Compared to the next image, the ripples are much softer here,
most likely due to the extremely wet conditions in 2005 compared
to 2002. |
