 Sandshark Gills - USE CODE "CNAB31" FOR ORDERING |
The sandstone
formations in the Four Corners Region are some of the most spectacular
in the world. This particular formation was formed on the underneath
side of a small alcove. The harder layers of sandstone erode more
slowly, resulting in the fins seen here. This image was taken in
March 2005, and reminds me of gills, so I have playfully named this
image "Sandshark Gills." |
