I did a 50 mile
weeklong backpacking trip through the Weminuche Wilderness of the
San Juan mountains in Southwestern Colorado with my friends Kate
and Nick in 2001. In early July, the wildflowers at 10,000+ feet
were still emerging. This is the view as we started down Rock Creek
Canyon towards the Guardian, and Vallecito Creek. |
