The Subway is
a fascinating feature in Zion National Park. Located on the North
Fork of the Left River. This feature is shaped like a keyhole, is
about 200 yards long. Due to the direction of the canyon, the subway
receives very little direct light. The light reflected by the nearby
sandstone canyon walls gives the walls a golden glow. The deep shadows
give the deep blue color to the water. |
