Twin Peaks on
the Navajo Reservation north of Holbrook AZ are a pair of volcanic
plugs setting atop red sandstone from ancient seabed. I make it
a point to travel along this road as many times as possible as I
make trips to the four corners region as this is one of my favorite
scenes in northern Arizona. I have photographed these peaks numerous
times over the years. On this particular November afternoon, the
cirrus clouds perfected the scene. |
