Havasu Falls
on the Havasupai Reservation on the South side of the Grand Canyon
is probably the most famous falls in the state of Arizona. The carbonate
rich waters create the travertine formations and the calcium carbonate
particales in the water reflecting the sky give it the wonderful
turquoise color. These falls are at the end of a 10 mile hike. |
