Sand dunes lend
themselves to some fantastic abstractions. White
Sand Dunes National Monument in New Mexico are some of my favorite
dunes. The sand is gypsum, a white mineral that most people will
know as the stuff in sheetrock or wallboard. I made this photograph
in March, 2000 while I was backcountry camping. |
